Privacy

Privacy, in plain language.

No account is required. Search terms are used to retrieve public catalogue information.

Last updated: 3 November 2026.

When you search

Your ISBN, title, author or topic reaches our Cloudflare-hosted backend. It sends the query to the catalogue providers listed on our sources page. The providers receive those search terms and the server request; their own policies apply. Avoid entering private information in the search box.

Caching and request limits

Catalogue responses may be cached at the edge for up to one hour to reduce repeated requests. They include the query’s public book metadata, not an account profile. We use Cloudflare rate-limit bindings to count requests by network address and by source. Network addresses can be shared, so a busy shared network may encounter a temporary limit.

Logs, cookies and browser storage

The application does not intentionally log search terms or enable Workers application logs. Cloudflare processes network traffic and operational information as our host under its own policies. We have not added advertising, tracking analytics, third-party fonts, account cookies or persistent browser storage. Text you enter remains in the current page until you leave or change it.

Links you choose to open can take you to independent catalogue sites. Those sites control their own data practices.
